This site covers making money, investing it, saving it, and
thinking about it. That latter is what makes the content here
different. I don't ignore meaning and purpose. Jobs and businesses
are looked at not only the perspective of how to succeed, but
with the question of purpose and true satisfaction always in
mind. There is some bias here. I happen to think it matters how
you earn a living, for example, and that business should be conducted
honestly. My thinking is forever evolving, but you can find my

Money News - The worst state for the wealthy? This
is from USNews.com:
"Those earning over $1 million a year in the Golden State
face one of the highest state tax rates, 10.55 percent. To make
up for the budget shortfall, the state decided to raise income
taxes by 0.25 percent across all tax brackets for 2009 and 2010."
Question: Even is we accept that the wealthy should pay more
in taxes (they get more in benefits by far), what rate is too
high?

worth to you; pay more than that you are paying too much, no
matter what the market says.
